Here is a list of the different commissions that you could expect to be charged when you hire us to sell your home!

0% - You sell the property…You do the work…You pay nothing!

1.5% - You find the buyer on your own and no other agent is involved. I will write the contract and walk it through all of the different stages to assure a successful closing!

4% - This is our commission if we find the buyer and write up the contract and no other agents are involved. The simple fact that we make more money…and you pay less money…. when this happens its a wonderful thing! We work hard at and it does happen quit often because of our effective marketing strategies.

6% - Your property sells and there is another agent representing the buyer. My commission is 3% and the other agent receives 3%.

There are a number of studies that have been done and the statistics suggest that a real estate agent or company skilled in marketing & negotiating can sell your home for about 4% more than an unskilled agent or the average homeowner. On a $150,000 home, that's a whopping $6000! It pays to hire someone that knows what there doing!

Here are a few questions that you might want to ask a Realtor you are considering hiring.

1. What is your ratio of sales price to listed price?

2. What is the average number of days your listings are on the market before  selling?

3. What do you personally have to loose if my home does not sell?

4. Could you explain the pros and cons of the standard purchase agreements we will encounter?

5. How many years have you been selling real estate full time?

6. How many homes have you sold in the area?

7. What is your commission rate?

8. What if I sell it myself?

9. Does my home need any repairs or changing in any way?

10. What are the most desirable features of my home? The least?

11. What is the length of your listing agreement?

12. At what price would you market my home?

13. What professional designations do you have?

14. Do you have any references with you now?

15. Why should I hire you?
